Tea Time Marci

Hello,

So much time has passed since my last post...
Well I'm happy to say that after battling with a few health issues, I'm ready to craft again and attend to my much neglected blog.
As Mother's Day is fast approaching, I got in early this time and made my mother's card using Tea Time Marci digi stamp from La La Land Crafts. Isn't she a cutie? I also used a tea cup template that I downloaded from this tutorial I found online to make my teacup. 

                                               

I coloured this image with my Copic Markers.

Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, R20

Hair - E21, E25, E29

Dress/Boots - E40, E41, E43, E47

Apron - E50, E53

Headband - Y11, Y15, Y17, E33

Flowers/Teacup - V000, V01, V12, V15

Materials and Tools Used: 

Sentiments:  Kaisercraft Mini Alpha Stickers (white and black) and Computer generated

Designer Papers:  Cre8tiv 6x6" Mini Paper Stack

Dies: Heart Doily Border Die and Filigree Corner Die from La La Land Crafts.

Miscellaneous:  Magic Art Transfer Film (gold) and Magic Art adhesive for gold trimming around the cup. Ribbon and Kaisercraft pearls from my stash.

Mother's Day Card

It's that time of the year again where MUM's are celebrated but the truth is...mother's should be celebrated everyday. I am thankful for my mum. She has a generous spirit and a gift of giving. She's a great cook too!
I also love being a mum...it is a gift from God and He has definitely blessed me with 4 amazing children.

Well today I made my mum her mother's day card which I am entering into the 
'La La Land Crafts Contest #13 - Mother's Day, Wedding or Graduation.' It is the first time I have paper pieced a card. It was a bit of work but I like the effect. I also used liquid pearl for the first time but had an accident halfway through when the bottle slipped and rolled over some of the pearls and squashed them. I tried to fix the smudge the best I could :(

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all those special women in the world.

Well guess what???

I finally made a card after so many months. I'm still working on my colouring technique but had so much fun making this mother's day card for my special mum. I also need to work on my stitching. lol

As much as I would love to make more of these cards I feel I need TIME. I'm entering this card in
